The island has regular connection to Athens or Thessaloniki with Aegean Airlines (member of Star Alliance), Olympic Air and Sky Express.<\/p>\n

The airport of Mytilene is located 6 km from the city center. Local busses and taxis are available.<\/p>\n

The duration of the flight from Athens is about 45 minutes.<\/p>\n

During the summer period there are many regular and charter connections to Mytilene, mainly from other European cities.<\/p>\n
